IGNITE. EXCITE. EMPOWER. is a grassroots lifestyle empowerment company paving the way to individual growth and social transformation.

"This is your world. Shape it, or someone else will." - Gary Lew

I.E.E. is a thought provoking company.  We ignite discussions, excite the mind to explore new possibilities, and empower people by providing affordable educational opportunities in the areas of personal, physical, and professional development.

Paving the Way.

Ryan Woods, founder of Ignite. Excite. Empower. LLC. has been impassioned to launch initiatives that challenge stereotypical social norms and perceptions.  The idea of I.E.E. began in 2004.    Constantly derailed by physical and emotional obstacles, Ryan's journey was the embodiment of failing forward.  In 2013, Ryan, with the help of a retired educator from Suffield High School in Connecticut, was able to structure his dreams and systematically build what is now Ignite. Excite. Empower and the Cycle Initiative, I.E.E's first launch.

Ryan is personally invested in empowering women because he is the child of a single mother who worked three jobs to support him.  Ryan's mom is an electrician in the State of Connecticut with her Master's license.  While growing up, he did not appreciate her struggles of working in a male dominated field.  It took time and reflection before he could truly appreciate her silent struggle.  Ryan's mom is a hero!

The I.E.E. team knows that it is difficult to change social bias and ingrained perceptions.  Biased words we use each day affect behavior because of their deep-rooted negative connotations. Therefore, instilling positive perceptions is easier than changing negative ones.

“Chains of habit are too light to be felt until they are too heavy to be broken.” – Warren Buffett

Raising children in an empowering environment is far easier than changing the perception of children raised in a biased environment.  By challenging social norms and biased perceptions with the Cycle Initiative, Ryan, acting as a role model, is paving the way for his two nieces, Adriana and Rowan.

We all have a story.  By smashing stereotypes, women could be universally appreciated and recognized for their unique talents and incredible achievements.  This is the heart of the Cycle Initiative.  As a staunch Cycle supporter, Ryan is excited that his fellow brothers and sisters are joining him.
