My name is Ryan Woods. I am the Founder of Ignite. Excite. Empower. (IEE) and the Cycle Initiative, a female empowerment initiative that recognizes all women for their own unique talents and skill sets.
You may be questioning why a guy started a female empowerment initiative. To be clear, I am not a bandwagon jumper. I am the proud son of a single mother who parlayed a high school education into a professional career through a grueling ordeal of gender bias and discrimination. I believe she would have struggled less if she had support from others in a similar situation.
The Cycle Initiative encompasses all aspects of personal and professional success and creates the vehicle for women to achieve together what may not be possible alone. Encouragement and experience from likeminded people will allow for positive perpetual motion.
